Tinhy PET Staple Fiber Needle Punched Nonwoven Geotextiles have been made of high-quality polypropylene or polyester staple fibers. They are combed, laid, needled, and processed. The product has good flexibility, acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, anti-aging, high strength, stable size, good water permeability, filtration and isolation performance, and convenient construction.
Tinhy’s PET Staple Fiber Needle Punched Nonwoven Geotextiles are durable and play an effective role in protecting the geomembranes as well as preventing the geomembranes from deforming so as to stabilize the soil. These geotextiles are the ideal materials for civil engineering projects, as they also have a good effect on the anti-seepage of the soil.
Geotextiles that consist of different weights and filter levels are ideal solutions for separating drainage, sediment control, damping, as well as various construction and road repairs applications. When used in filtration applications, it is important to note that the actual mechanics and functions of geotextiles made of nonwoven fabrics are very different from the originally woven monofilaments. The woven threads and films mean that woven geotextiles are not as porous, making them unsuitable for projects where drainage is important.
The majority of geotextiles are manufactured by using conventional fabric producing skills. The popularity of geotextile nonwovens is due to their cost-to-production ratio, which is lower than that of their woven counterparts.
The needle-punched geotextile consists of 100% polyester staple fibers that form a random network for dimensional stability. The polyester staple fiber is designed to resist UV light and is inert when exposed to soil chemicals. The tissue resists ultraviolet decay, as well as biodegradation and resists the encounter with bases and acids.
